Yes. I accept several insurance plans through Headway, and self-pay is also available. Headway will verify your coverage and provide an estimate of your cost during the scheduling process.
No. Most patients can schedule directly without a referral. If your insurance plan requires one, Headway will let you know during the scheduling process.
The initial psychiatric evaluation is approximately 60 minutes, allowing time to discuss your symptoms, history, current medications, concerns, and treatment goals.
Appointments are scheduled through Headway. You can use your Headway account to manage your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Telehealth appointments are available for adults throughout Texas. Limited in-person appointments are also available at the Hamilton, Texas office.
During your first appointment, we'll discuss your symptoms, medical and mental health history, current medications, and treatment goals. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your needs.
No. The Mind Clinic does not prescribe controlled medications, including stimulant medications or benzodiazepines. If these medications are needed, another provider may be recommended.
The Mind Clinic provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and older adults. The practice does not provide care for children or adolescents.
